Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-30
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines prohibited activities across all StorageSSD services, including our DMCA-ignored and offshore storage tiers.
1. Lawful Use Only
StorageSSD services, including privacy-oriented, DMCA-ignored and offshore storage, are provided for lawful use only. “DMCA-ignored” refers to our content-neutral copyright-complaint handling within the applicable jurisdiction; it is not a licence to host illegal content.
2. Strictly Prohibited Content & Conduct
The following are prohibited on all services without exception:
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors.
• Content or activity that is illegal in the jurisdiction where the server is located or where you operate.
• Malware distribution, botnet command-and-control, phishing, or credential-harvesting infrastructure.
• Network abuse: denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, spam, or unauthorised access to other systems.
• Content that incites violence, terrorism, or human trafficking.
3. Resource Abuse
You may not use services in a way that degrades the network or other customers' performance, including sustained abuse of shared resources beyond the limits of your plan.
4. Reporting Abuse
Report suspected violations to abuse@storagessd.com. We investigate all reports. While certain tiers are content-neutral toward standard copyright notices, we act promptly on reports of the strictly prohibited content above and on valid legal orders.
5. Enforcement
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund, and where required, disclosure to and cooperation with lawful authorities.
